  FOUNDRY CLEANER-5095 is an aqueous, alkaline formulation that has been designed to aggressively break down urethane resins and release agents from the screens, vents and surface of core boxes.

FOUNDRY CLEANER-5095 has formulated to be used in an immersion system. FOUNDRY CLEANER-5095 is corrosive so take necessary precautions when using. FC-5095 should be heated to a temperature between 100 -150°F and agitated by some means (i.e. mixer, air, ultrasonic). The warmer the material, the more effective it will be. Boxes should remain immersed 15-20 minutes before removal at which point they should be added to CA-5 neutralizing solution. The boxes should then be blown off or steam cleaned. FOUNDRY CLEANER-5095 should not be used on aluminum parts.
