oil based, cold box release agent, silicone release agent PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
 
  MOLD RELEASE-MSO is a unique blend of silicones in a petroleum distillate. This blend contains no chlorinated solvents and has not been shown to contribute to ozone depletion. MOLD RELEASE-MSO is a slower evaporating, oil extended release agent that has been specially formulated for use in all Cold Box processes except SO2. This product offers excellent release on aluminum, urethane, and metal core boxes.

Specific Gravity: 0.86 – 0.87
Flash Point: > 200°F

MOLD RELEASE-MSO can be applied either by spraying, brushing or wiping. Whatever technique is used, it is recommended a uniform coat be applied to insure consistent release. The frequency of application will depend upon core complexity and application technique. Application frequency should provide good release properties while minimizing build-up. Mix well before and during use.
