Based upon field experience the following procedure has proven to be the most effective for mold configurations containing deep draws.

1)Lock-out press

2)Blow off any loose contaminates

3)Line cavity of mold with cheesecloth or cotton rags

4)Apply mold cleaner to rags

5)Cycle mold to closed position

6)Allow mold to sit for a period of 3-10 minutes. This time will be a function of operation schedules and the amount of build-up to be removed

7)Open mold and remove rags

8)Blow off mold surfaces

9)Wipe surfaces with a water soaked rag to remove mold cleaner residual

10)Blow off mold surface and apply release agent
