OVEN CLEANER-2559 is used as supplied. It can be applied to oven walls by spraying, brushing, or wiping. As the OVEN CLEANER-2559 contains caustic, care must be taken to avoid skin and eye contact. If spraying, the product should not be “misted” and respiratory protection provided.

The preferred method of application is foaming onto the surface using a foaming applicator. And since the OVEN CLEANER-2559 contains caustic, care must be taken to insure against attack on soft metal surfaces like aluminum, magnesium, or galvanized metals. When working on such substrates, the contact time after soil removal from the surface should be kept at a minimum.

Once the soil is attacked, the surface should be thoroughly rinsed with water to remove all residues of the cleaner.
